Sgt Howard Reed 1945

I was born in Reading Pa. July 18,1925. Graduated from high school June 1943 Reached the age of 18 July 18 1943 and was drafted Sept 2, 1943.

My military service led me to gunnery school and service with Crew 7.

I was discharged in Jan 1946 and entered Rider College in Trenton, NJ that September. I graduated from Rider College, August/September 1949 with a BS in Commerce. I worked one year at W.T.Grant Co., and then in October 1950 began my 35 years of employment with the Reading Coca Cola Company.

In Nov 1950 I married Dorothy Walborn. We have 2 children, a daughter Linda, born Sept 1952, and a son Neal born July 1954. I retired from Coca Cola in July 1985. Dorothy and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in Nov of 2000...And we are very happy with our 4 granddaughters. Two are 17 years old; one is 13 and one 11.
