                Superfortress Then and Now
It has been said that the B-29's won W.W.II and saved countless
lives because our men never had to land on Japanese soil. This
war was won  in the air and turned the tide on the entire
war. We Americans owe  the lifestyle we are living NOW to
those who fought THEN... an important  message that has failed
to be delivered to those of us who are fortunate enough to have
never lived through war.  This mailing list is dedicated
to those men and women and this fabulous machine! |

54: The Last B-29 This site by Tom Mathewson is dedicated
to the people involved with the B-29 aircraft - those who built
them, fixed them, and flew them. But I'll focus mainly on aircraft
number 44-69729 (T "Square" 54), the aircraft Tom and many others
                restored at Lowry AFB. |
