General Property Information & Hotel and Room Amenities:

The Maison Dupuy hotel is a luxury boutique property with 200 rooms on 5 floors located in the heart of the French Quarter, two blocks from world famous Bourbon Street. Local attractions include the Aquarium of The Americas, Jackson Square, New Orleans Convention Center, Superdome and New Orleans Arena.

The hotel was created by joining five neighboring townhouses. The buildings reflect an ornate style with French doors, long windows and wrought iron balconies draping many of the five floors. The interior of these adjoined brick edifices marks the perimeter of the French Quarter’s largest and most scenic courtyard. The centerpiece of the property, the courtyard exemplifies the romantic charm of the neighborhood. A bubbling, three-tiered, marble fountain is a focal point. Guests can enjoy the large swimming pool and outdoor dining day and night when the weather permits. Lush, tropical foliage shades the courtyard and creates a sense of privacy and intimacy in what is actually a large space. The mood is magical in the courtyard at the Maison Dupuy. The National World War II Museum opened its doors on the 56th anniversary of the Normandy invasion that liberated Europe. It is located in New Orleans, Louisiana because it was here that Andrew Higgins built the landing craft used in the amphibious invasions; the landing craft which President Eisenhower believed won the war for the Allies. The Museum stands as our country's tribute to the men and women who made the invasions in Europe, Africa and the Pacific theaters successful. It presents their stories to an international audience, preserves material for research and scholarship, and inspires future generations to apply the lessons learned from the most complex military operation ever staged.

Our visit includes admision to the Solomon Theater for a viewing of "Beyond All Boundaries" 42 minute cinematic experience produced by Tom Hanks. Our scheduled viewing time is at 11:00 am.
