Robert J. Sabol was born in 1924 to John A. and Caroline Sabol, who lived at 140 First Avenue, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Robert was one of four children including Albert, Caroline and Evelyn. His father worked at the Post Office as a mail clerk.
