My name
is Ben Bahlmann, and I am an oral historian working for the University
of Utah's American West Center (AWC). The AWC's "Saving the
Legacy" is an ongoing project in which WWII veterans living
in the state of Utah are extensively interviewed about their military
service. These recorded interviews are then housed in the University's
special collections archives where they are made available for research.
I write today in hopes that you would be able to assist us in our
project by searching your group's history records for any member
originating from the state of Utah, and also by reviewing your association's
membership list for anyone who is currently living in the state
of Utah. Any help you could provide us in this regard would be greatly
appreciated.
