S/Sgt Pasquale "Pat" Mastromatteo
Tail Gunner

Born in Lebanon, PA. December 11, 1925 to Eli C. & Maria DiNunzio Mastromatteo.

He graduated in 1943 from Villanova University, Pat later attended Millersville University receiving his degree in criminal justice.

Pat worked with his father as a shoe repairman from 1951 to 1962 in Lititz and later worked for the PA Board of Parole until his retirement. He was instrumental in helping start the Lititz Springs Pool.

Pat and his wife Jeanette were married for 54 yrs. They have 3 children Dean, Lee and Lynda; 5 grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.



Pat found the nephew of Edward Kanick (Flight Engineer of Crew 30) and shared with him the story of his Uncle's loss during WWII. Click here to read the article that appeared in the Lehighton, Pennsylvania Times.

Pasquale Patrick Mastromatteo took his Final Flight on 10 October 2007 at the age of 81 yrs.
