The following missions label as Crew 61 missions were found in the Historical Narratives of the 62nd BS from April-July 1945 written by Capt. Edward S. Babbitt, Historical Officer, 62nd BS.

Note: In the Narrative History for June 1945 - Personnel Section it states:

"members of Crew 53, which had been lead by Capt K. L. Hornbeck (now up for reclassification), were transfered to Crew 61 with 1st Lt. S. K. Felton as Airplane Commander."

In the Narrative History for July 1945 - it states that Crew 61 (lead by 1st Lt. S.K. Felton) left for the states on 6 July 1945 - source is Par 9 SO 159, HQ 314th Wing dated 07/12/45. Looking at that order it shows Felton and all the Officers and EM formerly assigned to Crew 53 (except Hornbeck) as be assigned TDY 30 days for Lead Crew School.

Therefore it's unknown if the missions below are for the Felton Crew who arrived in Apr/May and flew 9 or so missions or Crew 61 - Felton Crew (formerly Crew 53)?

And who flew missions as Crew 61 after 6 July 1945 when Felton and former Crew 53 members were TDY?
