family of Richard Paquette (A/C) of Crew
52 that was lost on the 23-24 May raid to Tokyo is looking
for anyone that remembers the nose art of Crew 52's B29.
Please

They are especially interested in hearing from Tom Wacht,
(P-51), Lloyd R. Hill (P-52) and Sherwood Kiernan (P-52).
Hill and Kiernan became POW's and survived the war.. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. |

On
March 7 the 960th Airborne Air Control Squadron was reactivated
at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The
960th traces it's lineage back to the 60th Squadron of the
39th Bomb Group of WWII.
Capt.
Mark Rasnake, Projects Officer for the 960th would greatly
appreciate any information regarding the 60th Squadron such
as pictures, patches, historical information, experiences
by former member of the 60th and so on. Capt Rasnake address
