MayDay
(To the Tune of Bless 'em All)

There's a dreamboat that's leaving from Guam.
We're off to the Empire to bomb.
We know where we're going,
We've been there before.
We know what we're going to do.

Pull a buzz job on old Tokyo,
And one on Nagoya too.
We blew up Otake,
And burned up Osaka,
But screwed up on Ha-ma-ma-tsu.

Colonel Mundy is leading today.
They're going right into the fray.
While the bombs they are falling,
For help they are calling.
They're gonna get dunked in the spray.

There they go, they're away,
Mundy, Miranda and crew.
Twelve chutes we saw open
They lit in the ocean.
Now what are they going to do?

Air Sea rescue is riding the wave,
Seeking downed fliers to save.
In the sub's cramped quarters
They sailed through the waters
And returned to the home of the brave.

This parody was send in by Marvin Demanzuk, Radar, P-2
Marvin tells "We had a group of gifted song writers in the Group and they came up with this ballad for P-13. We sang it so many times at the Officer's Club I had no problem recalling it and recording even after many years".
