Lester Fauver enlisted in the service February 11, 1944 in Richmond, VA.

"I enlisted with hope to be a pilot but was told they had enough so I signed up to be a gunner.

Upn my discharge on 1/10/1946 at Fort Meade, Maryland, I went to high school for 6 months then graduated. I attended college for one year then got married"

Lester and Particia Fauver were married November 1947; they have 3 children, a daughter and two sons and 4 grandchildren.

"I was a deputy sheriff and took employment in September 1947 as a Enforcement Officer with the Virginia Alcohol Control Commission.

I reitred May 1989 with 41 years 9 months as a Law Enforcement Officer and was State Assistant Director from 1974 to 1989."

Lester P. Fauver, Jr. took his final flight on 29 Sept 2015 just hours after his loving wife of 68 yrs Pat.
