William E. Price, Marietta, GA - "I was in the 6th Squadron, 29th Bomb Group. On April 7th over Nagoya, we were rammed head-on by a Japanese fighter. Our "City of Muncie" lost her left wing, rolled over on her back and spun down in flames. Three of us, Lt Melvin L. "Smoke" Greene, Sgt Leroy Siegel and I got out but were captured as soon as we hit the ground."
